I am Daisy Bolger.

"I’m inspired by the people that surround me–family, friends, and strangers passing by fuel the stories featured in my work.

Portraits, both stills and short narratives, are where I thrive. I move my frame to fit the subject and let the story come to me.

Studying an individual with unique experiences, intentions, and environments empowers me to become a silent storyteller behind the camera, letting the subject shine."

Daisy is a junior Film, Photography, and Visual Arts major at Ithaca College with a passion for visual storytelling. Raised in Ossining, NY, Daisy developed an interest in photography at a young age, evolving into a focus in cinematography and editing.

In her short time at Ithaca College, she has worked as Director of Photography, Gaffer, Assistant Camera, and Editor on over 25 student and indie films—she enjoys shooting on 16mm film the most. As Assistant Manager at IC's Park Portable Equipment Center & Support, she has extensive hands-on experience with production gear both on and off set.

Daisy is also a recipient of a Scholastic Art and Writing Award for her film, Aftermath. She is passionate about contributing to a more equitable and inclusive future for unrepresented filmmakers, and making art that uplifts and sparks change.
